A BAA is available for healthcare engagements. Request the actual agreement for the relevant legal entities before connecting patient information. This public page explains the process and is not itself an executed BAA.
Review the relevant obligations
An appropriate BAA addresses permitted uses, safeguards, incident and breach reporting, assistance with applicable individual rights, subcontractor obligations, return or destruction of data, and termination. Responsibilities must match the actual deployment and parties.
Define the service boundary
Confirm the systems, information, processing locations, providers, channels, and authorized actions in scope. A badge or general website statement does not establish the scope of a specific agreement.
Execution
