Bring a real buying hesitation to the demo

Use a fictional customer with a question your team receives about price, compatibility, delivery, or starting a service. Ask the provider to show how its answer is sourced. A polished greeting is not evidence that it can handle your actual buying process.

Test an uncertain answer and a request outside scope. The agent should acknowledge its limits and route the request appropriately. An unsupported product promise can cost more than an unanswered inquiry.

Inspect the work after the conversation

Ask what happens when the customer does not buy immediately. Review the proposed cadence, channels, permitted contact windows, maximum attempts, and stop conditions. Check how a reply or staff takeover changes the next scheduled touch.

Request a demonstration of the actual supported action: a checkout link, a verified order event, a booking request, or a confirmed appointment. Those outcomes are different. Avoid comparing services using a generic claim that both integrate with a CRM.

Define what managed service includes

Ask who approves the playbook, configures the connection, tests edge cases, reviews failures, and updates answers when the business changes. Document the deliverables, responsibilities, support access, and any review cadence in the agreed scope.

A managed deployment can reduce the work your team performs itself. It does not remove your responsibility for product claims, contact permissions, clinical decisions, or approving business rules. Make ownership explicit before customers enter the workflow.

Compare costs and evidence fairly

Review implementation charges, included usage, overages, communications provider fees, integration work, support, and exit terms. Consider the staff time still required for exceptions. Compare like-for-like scope rather than a headline price alone.

For customer results, request the baseline, time period, eligible lead count, attribution method, and refunds or costs included. A provider’s public story is evidence of its reported engagement, not a guaranteed outcome for your business.

Choose the first job before choosing scale

Start with a specific lead source, approved answers, a measurable purchase or appointment outcome, and a staff owner. Ask each shortlisted provider to demonstrate the same normal and failure cases. Select the scope you can evaluate with your own records.

Crypture combines approved selling conversations with voice, SMS, and WhatsApp follow-up. Its first engagement is scoped around your workflow and connected systems. The pricing page identifies what to put in that scope; commercial terms are confirmed in the written quote.
